Why does MyMentorAdvisor charge a subscription fee when other sites are free?
MyMentorAdvisor is 100% subscriber funded. We do not plan to seek outside advertising to fund our communication, marketing, and customer service costs.
There is a subscription fee to be listed as a Mentor in the MyMentorAdvisor.com community.
How much will a subscription cost?
Our subscription costs are less than $10.00 a month with additional cost savings for longer subscriptions. The following plans are available
Monthly $9.95 (Monthly cost: $9.95)
Quarterly $25.00 (Monthly cost: $8.33)
Annually $80.00 (Monthly cost: $6.67)
You change your subscription at any time. All changes will take effect as of your next billing date. Credits and/or prorations for partial billing periods are not available.
When will I start paying ?
We charge your account the day you complete your subscription set-up. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged according to the subscription plan you selected. You can change your plan or credit card on file at any time. Changes will take effect at the next scheduled billing date.
Note: Your Mentor profile will not be public until you complete your subscription set-up, the required portions of your profile are complete and you have three recommendations on file. You may want to complete the subscription set-up after the references and profile are complete.
Do you store my credit card information?
No, your credit card information is stored at our payment gateway, Authorize.NET, according to the subscription plan you sign up for. MyMentorAdvisor.com does not store credit card information, though we do track expiration dates to send you expiration reminders.
This Web site is secured with a GoDaddy.com Web Server Certificate. Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. We have also partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers.

When signing up as a Mentor am I able to save my information and come back later?
Yes, when you enter or update your information in the system, remember to click the Save button on the left side of the screen. Your information will be saved and available for future sessions.
After submitting my references emails am I done?
No. You must receive all three reference recommendations and a have subscription in place for your profile page to be available to Clients and appear in search results. So once your recommendations are in, complete your subscription set-up and get ready to connect with clients.
Do I have to upload my resume and/or provide my social network to complete my registration?
No. Mentors are given an option to provide additional information by attaching their resume and/or social media, but neither are required.
How is MyMentorAdvisor.com different than SCORE.com?
SCORE.com is a website focused specifically on business founders and business leaders working together with new or small business owners to improve their business.
MyMentorAdvisor.com is focused on a much broader demographic. 100+ million people over 50, 6+ million stay-at-home parents, and 23 million unemployed people. Many have years of expertise in a wide variety of activities other people have an interest in learning.
Can I sign up if I am located outside the United States?
We do not currently support international payments. Because a subscription is required to show up in Mentor searches this makes overseas Mentor support unavailable at this time.
